It's 2023, but the prices here are accurate at the time of this article. We did a similar post for tailors (see here).
The concept is identical to our previous post: we've reached out to a number of shoemakers to compile a pricelist to help raise awareness of Indonesian shoemakers and help consumers make better informed decisions.
Each shoemaker will obviously be different in style (e.g., formal v. rugged), construction (e.g., cemented v. blake-stitched v. handwelted), materials (e.g., local v. European leathers) and of course, price.
This post will not be able to go into each detail. So, if you see a shoemaker here that matches your style and budget, we advise reaching out to them directly.
We have also asked these tailors about any planned price increase for 2023, which may help consumers in deciding whether to start the journey now or later.
